In the format of a large lipstick, Anker packs a power bank with 5,000mAh, a built-in USB-C socket and a foldable USB-C plug. The USB-C connector is particularly practical, as it saves you having to take an extra cable with you. Anker has put a lot of thought into the design of the USB-C connector and constructed it in such a way that it can pass through most protective cases.
Working with just about any device that charges using USB-C, the Nano Powerbank can output power at a decent rate of 22.5W. This is more than most competitors in the budget 5,000mAh capacity class.
The Nano Power Bank gets down to business quickly. It charged our test iPhone 15 by 42% within 30 minutes, an 11-inch iPad Pro by 20 per cent and even a Macbook Air M1 gets energy, but only 12 percentage points more. Even two iPhones can be charged at the same time. The weaker charging performance of the iPad Pro compared to its competitors is somewhat surprising.

The Nano Power Bank is charged and ready to go again within 90 minutes, which is also a good value. The total capacity of 5,000mAh is enough to supply an iPhone 15 with more than 95 per cent power.

Admittedly, the Nano Power Bank 22.5W cannot replace a lipstick or a lighter. But it may be more important for iPhone 15 owners.
The format is neat, as is the capacity of 5,000mAh, for “always with you” use. The killer feature, however, is the integrated USB-C connector. And if another device needs power, there is also a USB-C socket available.
