Race Across the World dominated the headlines earlier this year, and the final episode came down to a nail-biting finish at the southernmost tip of India.
The series invites a group of pairs to make their way across a continent (or large country) with a limited budget, no phones and no prior knowledge of what part of the globe they’ll be starting from.
If you want to know about Celebrity Race Across the World 2025, including who the contestants are and when series 3 will air, we have everything you need to know. You can also read our interview with Channel 4’s Hunted series 8 winner, who spills the secrets to evading capture .
When will Celebrity Race Across the World UK 2025 start?
The BBC has confirmed that Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 will begin tonight on Thursday 6 November at 8pm GMT. This is actually right before the final episode of The Celebrity Traitors.
Typically, new episodes drop at 9pm on Wednesdays on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. While the first episode is at 8pm, we imagine that this slot will change.
What is the route for Celebrity Race Across the World UK 2025?
It’s now been confirmed that the celebrities will be racing across the Caribbean and the Pacific coast of Central America .
They will begin at the stunning Isla Mujeres, which is just off the easternmost point of Mexico. From there, they’ll travel a whopping 5,900km (stopping at checkpoints along the way) to eventually reach the Península de La Guajira in Colombia, which is the gateway to South America.
The press release mentions that a lot of the route is breathtaking… but remote, so public transport may be a real challenge this time around.
Take a look at the first trailer for a taste of what’s to come:
