This black comedy thriller stars Sophie Thatcher as Iris, the girlfriend of Josh who whisks her away to a luxury cabin in the wilderness with a group of friends. However, the dream holiday turns into a nightmare when a shocking, violent act occurs.

How to watch Companion now
Companion is still available to watch in cinemas, though American viewers can also now buy and rent it at home – more on that below.
For those who’d prefer to see it on the big screen, you can get your tickets from Cineworld , Odeon and Vue in the UK, while those in the US can get them from AMC Theatres , Fandango and Atom Tickets .

When is Companion available on VOD?

As this is a Warner film, Companion will almost certainly come to the streaming platform Max first in America.
In 2022, David Zaslav confirmed that films would stay in cinemas for at least 45 days before hitting any streaming platforms. This decision was later backtracked , instead opting for a more flexible approach on a case-by-case basis.
Regardless, the streaming release date usually happens after the VOD one, with most Warner films dropping between two-to-three months after debuting in cinemas.
Based on that, we expect Companion to hit Max in either March or April 2025 .
Warner films typically land on Sky or Now in the UK, just a little bit after they are released in the US. So, a UK streaming release date of mid-spring 2025 seems plausible.

When could Companion be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Companion is expected to drop on DVD and Blu-ray on 1 April 2025 – we know that this is for the US release, but we aren’t sure if it’s the same for the UK.
According to Collider and Screen Rant, three new features will arrive with the physical release. They will be called I Feel, Therefore I Am, Love, Eli and AI Horror.
Physical copies of Warner films usually drop around two months after dropping on VOD – this was the case for Juror #2 and The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim , and this is also the case for Companion.
