Our Verdict
The Dreame H15 Pro Heat’s unique selling point is its 85°C/185°F hot water mopping but that’s not the only reason to buy it. It’s easy to manoeuvre and effective in use and, if you don’t mind its price, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed by its performance.

How do you feel about effortlessly mopping your floors with hot water? Because Dreame’s H15 Pro Heat wet and dry vacuum does exactly that.
There are a number of similar Dreame models but the unique selling point of this one is that it mops with 85°C/185°F hot water. It’s an unusual feature among even the best wet and dry vacuums .
It’s cordless, it’s upright (and it stands on its own), and it can lay completely flat so you can easily clean under the couch. It quickly shifts to a hot water cleaning mode, and afterwards uses hot water and hot air to wash and dry the roller. All of these features make the Dreame H15 Pro Heat easy to use and effective on all sorts of floors, be they hardwood, tile, or laminate.
Design and Build
- Cordless
- Comes with a cleaning solution
- Made to lie flat
The Dreame H15 Pro Heat Wet Dry vacuum comes in a fairly sizeable box. Inside, you’ll find the standing base, the appliance itself, the slot-in handle, a spare roller brush, a spare dry filter, and a tubular cleaning brush. There’s also a 500ml bottle of cleaning solution.
There’s already a roller brush installed, so you won’t have to worry about anything beyond plugging in the base, fitting the handle, and tearing away all the protective stickers.
It has a sleek design with beautiful rounded edges. Even the base looks good, which isn’t necessarily something you’d expect. The functional is mixed with the stylish so you won’t be embarrassed by it, even if you place it smack in the middle of your living room.
The vacuum features a digital display that shows which cleaning mode you’re using, whether the device is in drying mode, whether the Wi-Fi connection is active or not, and so on. When you choose the hot water mode, it will show a countdown so you know when it’s ready.
The slot-in handle features the power button and the mode-picking button next to each other, while the self-cleaning button is located on top of the handle.
Performance and Features
- Self-propelling
- 60 minutes max cleaning time
- 22,000 Pa suction
Setting up the Dreame H15 Pro Heat is a breeze. You simply unpack everything, slot in the handle, set up the base somewhere that’s convenient for you, and place the appliance on it.
It will start charging as soon as it’s plugged in and you can press the Wi-Fi button to start pairing the device to your Dreame app. This whole process is as painless as can be; you only need to ensure you use a 2.4 GHz network.

You’ll want to give it a twirl as soon as you get it set up, but my suggestion is to allow the battery to fully charge. Once that’s done, you can fill up the clean water tank on the front. As mentioned, the package includes a cleaning solution, and you’ll only need to use about half a bottle cap for each refill.
I’m going to be honest and say that the first time I picked this thing up from its charger I thought I’d never actually use it. It’s a fairly heavy appliance to lift, weighing 6.2kg, and I was fully expecting to have a hard time running it around the house. That couldn’t be further from the truth, however, as it’s motorised and self-propelling.
As soon as I set it on the floor, tilted the handle back, and pressed the start button – off it went. Underneath, Dreame’s “GlideWheel” rubberised wheels help it to sweep back and forth easily. Plus, the handle turns left and right, so altogether it’s made to manoeuvre with ease. Finally, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat can lie flat to the floor so you can mop underneath furniture.
There are multiple cleaning modes to choose from. The default cleaning mode can cover some 500 square metres and run for over an hour, which is quite impressive. However, the key selling point of this particular wet and dry vacuum is that it can use hot water to clean the floors, lifting even stubborn grease stains. Switching to the hot water mode is easy to do and it takes a few seconds for the water to heat up. Once that’s done, the Dreame appliance announces it fairly loudly so you know you can get to work.

While this mode is fantastic for deep cleaning, it takes a toll on the battery. In fact, you can only use the vacuum for about 20 minutes before you need to recharge it, which is a lot less than the hour of use you get with the regular cleaning mode.
The H15 Pro Heat can reach a suction power of 22,000 Pa which is pretty impressive on its own. There’s an RGB sensor on the device that detects various dirt and stain types and automatically adjusts the suction power, which definitely makes your life easier.
Under the roller cover, there’s a blade that cuts off any hair that gets through, so it won’t get tangled around the brush. At the front of the roller, there’s also a super cool robotic arm that descends when it senses you’re pulling back the vacuum, scraping off whatever dirt is there. In this way, you can actually clean right up to the very edge of the wall.

Every now and then while you’re cleaning, the vacuum may request you put it back on the station to automatically clean the roller. It only takes a few minutes. Then, when the job is complete, you can take advantage of a longer cleaning cycle. The station uses 90°C/195°F water to wash the roller and then dries it using hot air for half an hour. Throughout the day, it can sense moisture on the brush and run another drying session.
Price and Availability
It’s not yet for sale in the UK, but you can see Dreame’s available models on its website .
Should you buy the Dreame H15 Pro Heat?
The H15 Pro Heat is a fantastic pick for those who like clean and sanitised floors, but it costs much more than rivals and you should only go for it if you want hot water mopping. But if you do, it’s an impressive machine, effective on stubborn stains, with good reach and manoeuvrability, and hands-off self cleaning and drying.
