Xiaomi has created quite a buzz with the Redmi Note 14 series.

All three new models – the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ – phones include significant upgrades to design, durability, and performance compared to their predecessors.

When will the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 be released?

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 series was first launched in China on 26 September 202 4.

The international rollout has now begun, with India being the first international market to receive the series on 9 December 2024 .

Xiaomi is yet to reveal when, or indeed if, the Redmi Note 13 series will be available in Europe.

However, the previous Redmi Note 13 series was released globally on 1 February 2024, after its initial Chinese launch on 21 September 2023. So, early 2025 seems most likely.

How much will the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 cost?

Recent retailer listings, spotted by 91mobiles , have revealed pricing details for the European market.

The Redmi Note 14 4G, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is expected to be priced at around €240 (approx. £205/$255), which is €10 (approx. £8/$10) cheaper than its predecessor with the same configuration. This model will be available in Midnight Black, Lime Green, and Ocean Blue.

For the 5G-capable Redmi Note 14, the price will be around €300 (approx. £255/$320) for the same 8/256GB variant. It will come in Coral Green, Midnight Black, and Lavender Purple, reflecting a similar price to its predecessor upon launch.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G is set to cost €312 (approx. £265/$335), while the Pro 5G variant will be priced at €398 (approx. £340/$430). The high-end Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will retail at €498 (approx. £425/$535).

These prices include a bundle with the Redmi Watch 5 Lite and are consistent with previous models. All Pro models also feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Pro model colour options include Ocean Blue, Aurora Purple, and Midnight Black, while the Pro+ will be available in Frost Blue, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black.

However, those UK and US prices are simply approximate conversions of the Chinese and Indian figures, with actual prices likely to be higher.

The Redmi Note 14 boast new ‘King Kong’ architecture that promises to significantly enhance durability.

Both Pro models also come with IP69K certification for dust and water resistance, offering protection against high-pressure water jets.

The devices are available in striking colour options: Titan Black, Mystique White, Phantom Purple, and Spectre Blue, depending on the model.

Display & Speakers

The series features 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with Full HD+ resolution on the Redmi Note 14 and higher 1,220 x 2,712-pixel resolution on the Pro models.

All models offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The Note 14 reaches a peak brightness of 2,100 nits, while the Pro and Pro+ models push this further to an incredible 3,000 nits.

For audio, the phones are equipped with high-quality speakers to ensure a well-rounded media consumption experience.

Performance

The Redmi Note 14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage.

The Pro models feature more powerful processors: the Note 14 Pro runs on the Dimensity 7300 Ultra, and the Note 14 Pro+ is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.
