Realme announced the global availability of its latest mid-range phones yesterday at MWC , and it was clear that the handsets were coming to Europe. But after confirming their exit from the UK market last year, we assumed that Brits were out of luck.

Still, it’s great news for Realme fans in the UK, and hopefully it’s a sign of things to come. Realme spoke about its strategic plan for growth in 100 markets around the world as part of the launch event, with an aim to double its user base globally in the next three years.

It wasn’t stated explicitly and Europe often doesn’t include the UK when mentioned, but we have confirmation that it is the case this time.

Realme 14 Pro 3 - 1

As for the products, it’s the Realme 14 Pro+ that’s the star of the show. It has a striking design with a cold-sensitive colour changing back, a massive 6000 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and an impressive triple camera setup with a flagship-grade telephoto sensor.

It’s a lot of phone for €529 (around £440). There’s also a more affordable model, the Realme 14 Pro, which swaps the Qualcomm chip for a Dimensity 7300 but still comes with a mammoth 6000 mAh cell. That version retails for just €429 (around £355).

Realme Ultra concept 2 - 2

Of course, this is what Realme is known for, delivering exceptional value in the mid-range market. But it seems it may have its sights set on the higher-end of the market, too.

The brand showcased a new concept device at MWC , with a 1-inch sensor and interchangeable lenses. It’s a very interesting device, and while it might not make it to general sale, it’s a clear sign that Realme is thinking about camera-focused flagships.

We’re very excited to see what’s next from Realme, especially now that we know Tech Advisor readers will be able to buy them again.
