  • Hi-res images of Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra revealed
  • Single selfie cam confirmed
  • No S Pen mounting strip

We’ve just had our best look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra yet, and we’re left with just as many questions as answers.

After last month’s low-res image leak , German website WinFuture , has posted a series of higher resolution shots showcasing the design of Samsung’s next premium tablet.

They confirm and clarify some of the puzzling design inclusions that we noted before.

What these Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra images reveal

First things first – no we didn’t witness that weird semicircular notch in a fever dream. Samsung really is moving from a long, flat-bottomed selfie camera mounting to one that resembles a sub-£100 smartphone.

What this new high resolution image seems to confirm, however, is that this entails a switch over to a single camera. Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra had a pair of front-facing cameras. A potential downgrade, then.

The expanded roster of images also offers a first full view of the back of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. This wouldn’t be remarkable in and of itself – there’s no drastic design overhaul on display here.

However, it does confirm the omission of an S Pen strip. Given that there’s an image with Samsung’s stylus in it, we know that support isn’t going to be withdrawn. But will you still be able to mount it on the back?

It seems unlikely based on this image, though it’s possible that a side-mounted magnetic system will be in place.

One thing’s for sure – when official-looking high-res images appear, it generally means that a launch is imminent.

We’re expecting Samsung to announce the Galaxy Tab S11 range (alongside the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite) during IFA 2025, which runs from 5 to 9 September.
