Google is launching a host of new devices this week, but you don’t have to wait until Wednesday to get an official look at them.
The company has released a trailer for the Google event on 20 August, and the 24-second clip reveals a lot about what’s going to be announced.
In particular, we see three of the expected four models of the Pixel 10 smartphone, plus one size of the Pixel Watch 4 and two models of Pixel Buds earbuds.
Let’s start with the phones . In the trailer, three handsets are shown off. Arguably the most interesting is the Pixel 10, giving us a first look at its brand-new ‘Indigo’ finish. But given how nice this looks, is Google missing a trick?

Next to it, we see the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in ‘Jade’, a finish we’ve also not seen before. While the design looks very similar to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold , there are plenty of upgrades to get excited about .
It’s not clear whether the third phone is the Pixel 10 Pro or 10 Pro XL, although the size suggests the latter. It reveals a rather dull grey finish, which Google is expected to brand as ‘Moonstone’. It sits in third place in our ranking of all seven Pixel 10 colours .
Then there’s the Pixel Watch 4. It’s impossible to tell whether this is the 41mm or 45mm model (both are expected to return), but we do get a look at the silver version with a metal strap, which gives it a sophisticated look.
It also looks like there are two new models of Pixel Buds coming. The Pixel Buds 2a have widely leaked, and they’re shown here in a new finish that Google might brand as ‘Strawberry’ . And it looks like the existing Pixel Buds Pro 2 will get a new ‘Moonstone’ finish (to add to the existing ‘Porcelain’, ‘Hazel’, ‘Wintergreen’ and ‘Peony’), unless Google surprises us with a new generation.
The rest of the trailer is used to reveal the celebrities that will be making an appearance at the event. Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon, basketball star Steph Curry, F1 driver Lando Norris and musical trio Jonas Brothers are all set to be featured.
And you don’t have long to wait, with the event kicking off at 12pm local time in New York City (5pm UK time) on 20 August. Look out for lots of Pixel 10 coverage throughout this week and beyond on Tech Advisor.
