Initial design details for the Google Pixel 10 smartphone have leaked, and they reveal one exciting new feature that eliminates one of the Galaxy S25’s key advantages.
Arch tipster OnLeaks has been at it again, working together with Android Headlines to supply details and produce CAD renders for Google’s forthcoming Pixel 10 range.
However, there’s one stand-out detail that makes us excited for the plain Pixel 10 above even the flagship Pixel 10 Pro.

Pixel 10 camera set for a boost
You’d be forgiven for thinking that these renders were simply cut and paste jobs from last year’s Pixel 9 leaks. Indeed, with dimensions of 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, the Pixel 10 looks virtually identical to its predecessor.
However, there’s one notable addition to that distinctive camera module. It’s now got three camera lenses.
Every non-Pro Pixel phone to date has packed just two cameras – a main sensor and an ultra-wide. Only the likes of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL give you a dedicated telephoto camera.
That all looks set to change with the Google Pixel 10, though we don’t have precise details on what the precise component will be.

The Galaxy S25 may have some direct competition
This would also mean that the Samsung Galaxy S25 could be in for some serious competition.
While we haven’t exactly been wowed by Samsung’s last few generations of high-end phones, the plain Galaxy S option has always stood out from the crowd.
No other widely available flagship phone offers the same combination of compact size, sub-£800 price, and dedicated telephoto camera. Both the Google Pixel 9 and the iPhone 16 give you the first two, but not the latter.
If these Pixel 10 leaks are to be believed, Google looks set to change all that. If there really are no further meaningful additions to the Pixel 10 range when they launch towards the end of 2025, then the plain Pixel 10 would be the most interesting option by quite some margin.
