Super Bowl 58 had millions around the world glued to their seats as they watched the action unfold between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. As such, it was the perfect place for studios to drop some of their biggest commercials for upcoming films and TV series.

Which trailers aired during the Super Bowl?
Variety’s official prediction list was pretty spot on, with Marvel, Disney, Paramount and other major studios getting in on the Super Bowl action.
Deadpool & Wolverine
Deadpool is now officially under Disney’s MCU umbrella, and Disney has confirmed that Hugh Jackman will return to play Wolverine – though he’ll likely be a variant from another multiverse. Marvel fans will recognise the inclusion of the TVA, who were a huge part of the TV series, Loki .
Twisters
The 1996 hit Twister is getting a standalone sequel starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos. The original disaster flick followed a group of storm chasers who put their lives on the line to fix an alert system.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
The Planet of the Apes trilogy was a visually magnificent spectacle, following the revolutionary life of Caesar. This film is set 300 years after that, when humans have fallen back into a primitive state, with the exception of one girl.
Wicked: Part One
The Wizard of Oz musical spin-off Wicked reimagines the classic tale, told from the perspective of Elphaba, AKA The Wicked Witch of the West. As it’s split into two parts, the first half will almost certainly cover act 1 of the musical, building up to the iconic Defying Gravity number.
The Fall Guy
Ryan Gosling stars as stuntman Colt Seavers, who has been out of work for a year. He’s called back into the world of Hollywood when an actor goes mysteriously missing – but the longer he’s there, the more sinister things become.
Inside Out 2
Pixar’s hit Inside Out is officially getting a sequel and will introduce a brand-new emotion called Anxiety. There’s also a huge shake-up when headquarters gets a complete renovation.
Despicable Me 4
Gru and the Minions are back, and this time they face two new villains: Maxime Le Mal and femme fatale Valentina, who force Gru to go on the run.
A Quiet Place: Day One
This prequel to the Quiet Place franchise details the origins of the alien invasion, and how one woman fought for survival along the way.
Kung Fu Panda 4
Po is set to become the new Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, so he sets out to find a new Dragon Warrior. However, a villain is working to bring back some of his greatest former enemies.
IF
IF follows a girl who can see the imaginary friends of others, and works to reconnect friends who have been forgotten.
Knuckles
Following Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Knuckles the Echidna is still adjusting to life in Green Hills. He sets out to train his friend, deputy sheriff Wade Whipple, in the traditional ways of the warrior. However, there’s a new threat on the horizon.
Bob Marley: One Love
This biopic follows the life and career of reggae legend, Bob Marley, and the challenges he faced along the way.
Monkey Man
When Kid’s mother is murdered, he devises a plan to infiltrate the inner circles of the city’s elite to enact his revenge.
