In summary
- Hand-sketched design leaks
- Looks a lot like the Pixel 10
- “Significant improvements” predicted
Another leak concerning the Honor 500 smartphone series has given us an early (and somewhat unorthodox) glimpse at its new design.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has piped up with what appear to be initial hand-drawn sketches of the Honor 500.
The front of the phone looks much like any other phone, to the point where we question the value of sketching it out in the first place.
But the back and side-angled view reveals a phone that looks quite a lot like the Google Pixel 10 , or even the iPhone Air – albeit with the former’s two cameras rather than the latter’s one.
The leaker also mentions “significant improvements in imaging, performance, battery, and peripherals, all using top-tier components in its class,” some of which they (and indeed we) have already detailed elsewhere .

Honor 500 leaked specs
Just a couple of weeks ago the leaker claimed that the Honor 500 Pro would pack a 1/1.4-inch 200Mp main camera, much like the Honor 400 Pro .
It’ll also use a new 64Mp OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera with a 3x zoom length.
While we made a comparison to the iPhone Air above, this is no skinny phone. That’s evident from the leaker’s prior claim that the Honor 500 series would pack a battery that’s “the largest in the same class”.
This suggests that it’ll be even bigger than the Honor 400 Pro’s 6000mAh cell (which shrunk down to 5300mAh cell for the European market).
Expect Snapdragon 8 Elite power, too. No longer the top dog in terms of performance, but still very handy indeed.
We noted before that the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro are shaping up to be direct rivals to the Pixel 10 and even the Google Pixel 10 Pro , both in terms of specifications and (judging from the Honor 400 series) pricing.
Now it seems apparent that Honor is targeting Google when it comes to design, too.
