HBO Max is out now in the US, bringing with it around 10,000 hours worth of TV shows and films to suit everyone. There are popular classics such as all ten seasons of Friends and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, as well as exciting new exclusives in the future such as all the new 2021 films from Warner Bros.

HBO Max’s September 2021 promotion slashes the monthly fee of the ad-free version to $7.49 for the first six months, making it cheaper than the ad-supported version ($9.99/month).
The offer available to new and returning customers in the US and can be redeemed directly from HBO Max or via other platforms such as Apple, Google, Roku, LG, Microsoft, Sony, and Vizio.

There’s no better discount off HBO Max than getting it for free, and if you’re an AT&T customer then you may be able to do just that. AT&T is throwing in HBO Max for no extra charge with select accounts – you can check if yours qualifies for this in the table below:

However, the ad-supported subscription has another big drawback: it won’t include same-day theatrical releases such as Dune, The Suicide Squad and The Matrix 4. You can also only stream up to 1080p picture quality, whereas the full subscription includes 4K content.
