Fans of Master Chief will be excited to know that the long-rumoured TV adaptation of Halo has landed on Paramount+.
Paramount+ has finally launched in the UK, but it has been available in the US, Canada, Latin America, Australia and the Nordics for a while now. If you’re wondering how to watch the Halo TV show – and where it is available to stream – then keep on reading.
When will the Halo TV show be released?
The wait is over, as Halo is out now on Paramount+ . In the US, all episodes are available to stream. In the UK, the first three episodes are available at the time of writing, with new episodes dropping on Wednesdays.
How to watch all episodes in the Halo series on Paramount+
This costs either $4.99 per month for ad-supported viewing or $9.99 per month for ad-free. In addition, you’ll be able to watch the upcoming Knuckles series, and the second season of Halo (when it eventually airs) .
If you’re in the UK (or somewhere else without Paramount+) and want to watch all the episodes in the new Halo series, then you can do so with the help of a VPN.
VPN stands for virtual private network. This re-routes your IP address so you can browse the internet as if you’re based in another country. For watching the Halo series, you’ll need to connect to a US-based server.
There are lots of VPN providers to choose from but based on our testing NordVPN and Surfshark have the best performance and most competitive pricing. However, you can check out further paid VPN providers , as well as free VPN options – though these will likely not have enough servers to access the site successfully.
After you’ve downloaded your VPN of choice, you then have to overcome another hurdle – payment options. Currently, Paramount+ only accepts cards that are tied to US bank accounts.
You can get around the payment issue by purchasing a digital gift card. Here’s what you need to do:
- Connect to a US server on your chosen VPN
- Purchase an online gift card from an online retailer such as Walmart (you can find other options here ). $25 is the minimum, which will get you nearly four months’ worth of ad-supported viewing. You may also need to get a US address and phone number to sign up, but you can get hold of those for free online.
- Go to the Paramount Plus homepage and sign up for an account with an email address, password and any US Zip Code – but don’t enter any payment information on the next page
- Go to the Paramount Plus gift card page and input the pin on your email gift receipt
- Choose the subscription plan you want to sign up for
You should now be able to watch Paramount Plus.
As always when using a VPN to access content abroad, be aware that you’ll be in violation of the terms of use of Paramount+, so the company could theoretically cancel your account if it realises you’re using a VPN.
