The Screen Actors Guild Awards are back for the 30 th year, highlighting some of the best TV and films throughout 2023.

On the movies front, Barbie and Oppenheimer both lead the nominations with four nods each – lead actors Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt are all up for an award.

TV-wise, HBO’s Succession leads the charge with five nominations, but The Last of Us and Abbott Elementary are also up for some potential wins.

The SAG Awards are one of the last ceremonies of the season, taking place just before the 77 th Academy Awards . If you’d like to know when the show airs and how to tune in, we have all the information you need.

When are the SAG awards 2024?

The Screen Actors Guild Awards takes place on Saturday 24 February 2024 . It airs at the following times:

  • 8pm ET (East Coast US)
  • 5pm PT (West Coast US)
  • 1am GMT – 25 February (UK)
  • 2am CET – 25 February (Europe)

How to watch the SAG awards from the US and UK

This year, the ceremony will be exclusive to Netflix . Accounts start from £4.99/$6.99 per month for the Basic tier with ads. You can find out more about the Netflix plans here .

Red carpet coverage will air from 7pm ET on Netflix’s YouTube and TikTok social channels, and also directly on Netflix itself. This will be hosted by Tan France and Elaine Welteroth.
