After being defeated in May in a gruelling 12-round match, Tyson Fury is back to challenge Oleksandr Usyk in a fight that will go down in the history books. If you want to watch the action live, we know how you can stream Fury vs Usyk for almost nothing.
Usyk won the last fight in a split decision, and this time around he is hoping to keep his titles – though he won’t be defending the IBF belt, as he vacated that earlier this year.
If you’d like to watch the clash of these two titans live (and find out how much it’ll cost you), we have everything you need to know.
When is the Usyk vs Fury 2 fight?
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will commence their 12-round fight on Saturday 21 December 2024 . All the action will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the same venue as the first fight.
After the ring walks, the fight is expected to commence at the following times:
- 10:25pm BST (UK)
- 5:25pm ET (East Coast US)
- 2:25pm PT (West Coast US)
Build-up coverage will commence hours before, the exact timing will depend on how you watch.

Can I watch Usyk vs Fury 2 for free?
While we haven’t found a completely free route (other than listening to it on BBC Radio 5 Live/BBC Sounds), there is a very cheap one that was discovered by Yahoo back this Spring that we have successfully tested.
Ukranian streaming site Megogo (the home country of Usyk) is including the fight in its streaming plans via the channel Megogo Gong . There are a few tiers available, but two of them (the Maximum and Sports plans) offer ten days for 149 UAH. This works out to £2.80/$3.56.
Note that commentary will almost certainly be in Ukranian, so make sure you’re happy with that before using this method. You could always listen to the fight live on the BBC radio channels and mute the livestream.
To access this site, you’ll need a way of overcoming geo-restrictions – that’s why we recommend using a VPN (virtual private network). This software allows you to access sites that may be geo-blocked in your country.
The best we’ve used is NordVPN , which offers a wide range of servers (including one in Ukraine), competitive pricing, and a user-friendly interface. You can find more options in our list of the best VPNs for streaming.
Once you’re connected to a VPN and a Ukrainian server, head to the Megogo site . We did this on an Android phone, but it should also work on a desktop web browser or iPhone/iPad. The text on the screen is in Ukrainian, but we used Google Translate by clicking on the three dots on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Once that is done, you’ll be redirected to the Megogo homepage. Click on the fight banner (on the homepage) and click ‘watch’. It will provide you with a list of subscription options.
We chose the Maximum option, but in theory, any of these plans should work – two of them cost 149 UAH for ten days. Then select your subscription period.
You’ll then be prompted to enter your card details. We did this with no issues and were then able to stream content on the plan.

The settings of the video provide the option of English audio in some videos, but we doubt this will be the case for the live fight. You may be able to get English subtitles.
Once the event is over, you can avoid being billed further by clicking on the ‘subscription management’ tab in the settings, and following the numerous prompts until it confirms that your plan will end.
