However, as Tech Advisor’s Mobile Editor, my main focus this week has been on all the new smartphones that have just launched, including the Nothing Phone (3) , Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 , Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and OnePlus Nord 5 .

It means that I’m relatively fresh when it comes to deals, and always on the lookout for great offers on phones. While there are plenty of fake ‘deals’ on handsets out there, there are also a few gems that you don’t want to miss out on.

While our Prime Day deal tracker includes a wide range of tech products, if you’re specifically looking for phones, you’ve come to the right place.

Here are my top picks of the phone deals you don’t want to miss:

Google Pixel 9 – £499 (38% off)

The Pixel 9 was a great choice even at its £799 RRP, but this major discount makes it so much easier to recommend. It offers everything most people are looking for in a smartphone for less than £499 – what a bargain.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE – £499 (29% off, plus free Galaxy Watch 7)

Don’t be fooled by the name – the Galaxy S24 FE only launched last October. You can already save almost a third and get the Galaxy Watch 7 (worth £289 but must be claimed separately) without paying an extra penny. Now that’s what I call a great deal.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL – £779 (29% off)

I’ve used the Pixel 9 Pro XL as my main phone for many months , and it’s still the handset I keep going back to. While the original £1,099 price was a little hard to justify, a huge discount of well over £300 makes it a superb choice.

Samsung Galaxy A56 – £374 (25% off)

Looking for something a little cheaper? The Galaxy A56 ’s £499 starting price isn’t particularly appealing, but a 25% discount on a phone that launched less than four months ago certainly is. With the A56, you get most of the fundamentals of a great Samsung phone experience at a fraction of the price of the Galaxy S25 series.

Nothing Phone (3a) – £259 (21% off)

However, for the best budget phone deal, you can’t beat the Nothing Phone (3a) . We loved it at its £329 launch price in March, so to see a 21% discount already is impressive. The Phone (3a) offers everything most people need, plus some customisable ‘Glyph’ lights on the back.

All of these offers are specifically highlighted as ‘Prime Day deals’, meaning they’re set to expire at 11.59pm on 11 July . However, they may become unavailable sooner if stock runs out, so I’d urge you to take advantage while you can.

After this, the next best time to buy a phone will probably be Black Friday, so it could be a long wait for prices to be as low as this.
