The second season of the series based on Anne Rice’s iconic novels took viewers to 1940s Paris, where Louis and Claudia joined the sinister Théâtre des Vampires. Just before the season finale episode premiered, AMC renewed Interview with the Vampire for season 3.

The production is part of the so-called Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, based on the novel series by the writer. Interview with the Vampire is a screen adaptation of the Vampire Chronicles cycle. The universe also includes the Mayfair Witches series, which is based on the Lives of the Mayfair Witches books. A third show centred around the secret society called Order of the Talamasca is also in development.

Interview with the Vampire has been met with considerable acclaim from viewers, so it’s no surprise that AMC is releasing another season. In the latest episodes, viewers can expect some changes and many surprises.
