The tech deal I’ve purchased
Ok, I’ve finally pulled the trigger on a deal, but I’m afraid it’s not too exciting. Perhaps a sign of my age, but we all need new toothbrush heads eventually right?
Electric toothbrushes and replacement heads are a nightmare for misleading prices and deals (as well documented by our Home Tech Editor here ), but this is a genuinely good price for a new set of 8 – £39.79.
These are the Oral-B Ultimate Clean heads , which, if you can get them for under £5 per head, is a good price. I’d rather it was lower, but I need them, so it’s all good.
And yes, I’ve also added some Guinness Nitrosurge cans because otherwise it would be too depressing and that’s also a great price at just over £16, considering they’re close to £9 for 4 in supermarkets.

Half price Samsung tablet!
Only got £100 to spend on a new tablet, well the Galaxy Tab A9 is just £89 for Prime Day , giving you change to spare – or £105 for the 128GB model .
That’s half price for the 128GB model and the lowest price it’s ever been.
It’s one of our favourite cheap tablets of the last couple of years and while it might be replaced with a new model sometime soon, it’s still a bargain if you just need something cheap and portable for basic tasks.
