A dual-drawer air fryer won’t just give you double the cooking space – it’ll change the way you cook altogether, letting you abandon your slower, more expensive oven and cook entire family meals quickly and cheaply in the air fryer.
The trade-off, of course, is space. Two-drawer air fryers take up a lot of room on your kitchen counter. That’s where Ninja’s Double Stack air fryer swooped in and changed the game.
Ninja’s innovative double-decker design fits all the cooking space of a dual drawer model into a smaller countertop footprint.
And until now, it’s been the only model to offer this. But now Lidl has launched a Double Stack model of its own and at 45.6 (H) x 34.1 (W) x 28.4cm (D), it’s much less of a counter hog than a standard dual-drawer.

Lidl
Even better, it’s a fraction of the price of the Ninja, which has an RRP of £269.99 . Lidl’s model is only £89.99. You can see it on the Lidl site – but you can only buy one in store. It’s available now.
If you do miss out, or can’t get to the shops, you can buy the same model online from Euronics . The catch is that, at £99.99, it’s £10 more than if you can pick one up from Lidl.
But price isn’t the only reason to buy. It has two features that Ninja models lack.
The first is a viewing window, so you can check on the progress of your food without opening the drawer.
The second is a smart bit of space-saving design. Like the Ninja model, Lidl’s Double Stack has a digital display and control panel that projects from one side. On the Ninja model, this eats up some additional space.
But with Lidl’s model, the control panel folds flat so it takes up less space when not in use. Clever!

Here are its other features:
- Two 5.5L cooking baskets
- Up to 60 minutes of cooking time
- 60-200°C operating temperature
- 12 cooking programmes
- Match and Sync buttons ( what are these? )
- Easy to read digital display
- Two-year warranty
Note that it doesn’t say that the cooking baskets or crisper plates are dishwasher safe. That shouldn’t be a dealbreaker, as to protect your air fryer nonstick, you should use the dishwasher sparingly.
In any case, air fryers are easy to keep clean. The secret is a quick wipe-down after each use. Check out our article on how to clean your air fryer for more tips.
We’d also say that the only flaw we found in the Ninja Double Stack is that, as heat comes from the back of the drawers, you’ll need to shake up fries and rearrange food halfway though cooking to ensure consistent browning.
