A leaked image of the Nothing Phone (3) has given us our best look yet at Nothing’s stylish new flagship smartphone , but something appears to be missing.
We’ve heard direct from the horse’s mouth that Nothing is doing away with its iconic Glyph lighting system ( good riddance ), and this leaked image render from journalist Max Jambor seems to confirm that.
There are no flashy lights to be seen in the following image.

Enter the dot-matrix
However, we’ve also heard it claimed that Nothing is planning to replace the Glyph system with a new dot-matrix lighting system on the back of the phone. If that’s present on this new render, we’re not seeing it.
The device featured in this image looks like previous Nothing phones, such as the recent Nothing Phone (3a) Pro , with a familiar semi-transparent design. There appears to be no room for any extra lights, unless they’re hiding under the rear cover.
We saw a stealthy dot-matrix display on the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro gaming phone, only appearing when active. Such a provision isn’t out of the question here.

Nothing Phone (3) design and potential specs
Other notable design points include a decidedly subtle camera module. The aforementioned Nothing Phone (3a) Pro came with a pronounced circular camera module, but this one appears quite flat.
Only the individual camera mountings are standing out from the back of the phone.
Nothing founder Carl Pei previously revealed that the Nothing Phone (3) would cost somewhere in the £800 region. As that suggests, it’s shaping up to be the company’s “first true flagship smartphone”, with “Premium materials, major performance upgrades, and software that really levels things up.”
The Nothing Phone (3) will launch on 1 July 2025 at 6pm BST (UK time).
