  • Leaker reveals basic Oppo foldable specs
  • Larger displays
  • Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen chip

Specifications for the Oppo Find N6 foldable phone have seemingly leaked online.

The Oppo Find N5 was one of our favourite foldable phones when we reviewed it earlier in the year. It was just a shame that the company didn’t roll it out in more territories (including the UK).

Here’s hoping it launches the Oppo Find N6 in more markets, as it’s shaping up to be an impressive foldable – at least if these claimed specs are anything to go by.

Serial tipster Digital Chat Station has been at it again, this time with claimed specs for Oppo’s next foldable.

Oppo Find N6 specs

According to the leaker, the next iteration will feature a larger 8.1-inch internal display, a 6.6-inch cover screen, and will run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen chip.

It’s also claimed that the Oppo Find N6 will run off a large 6,000mAh or above battery.

The main camera, meanwhile, will utilise a 1/1.4-inch 50Mp Sony LYT-808 main sensor, which represents a return to the sensor of the Oppo Find N3. That sounds like a regression, but is actually an upgrade on the Oppo Find N5’s 1/1.56-inch Sony LYT-700.

It’ll also feature a 50Mp 3X thin periscope lens, apparently.

Elsewhere on this preliminary spec list can be found customisable hardware buttons, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, and full water resistance.

The leaker claims that the Opposition Find N6 will be “even thinner and lighter than a traditional foldable phone”.

Whether that’s in reference to the Oppo Find N5 or the new breed of foldable phone, represented by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Honor Magic V5 , remains to be seen.
