Oppo has been tipped to launch the Oppo Find X8 Ultra flagship smartphone , with what could be outstanding night low light camera performance, alongside a more compact Find X8 Next.
We’ve already seen two impressive flagship phones from the brand in the shape of the Oppo Find X8 and the Oppo Find X8 Pro . Now Oppo looks set to double the size of the roster.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra could be a ‘Night God’
Oppo executive Zhou Yibao has taken to Chinese social network Weibo to spill some details on the Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
According to the post (via machine translation), the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will boast next-level low light performance. Apparently this doesn’t merely entail “clear shooting”, but also involves “beautiful colour, especially shooting people”.
The product manager is promising a “huge increase in light” intake and “new hardware” that will restore colour in night shots. This has led the Oppo team to dub the Oppo Find X8 ‘Night God’.

What happened to the Oppo Find X8 Mini?
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra will likely launch in March alongside another, more compact phone in the Oppo Find X8 Next.
Reports suggest that the Oppo Find X8 Next could be the final name for the phone formerly referred to as the Oppo Find X8 Mini .
This phone will apparently be a lot smaller than the rest of the range, with a claimed 6.3-inch OLED display and a thickness of less than 8mm.
Despite this, it should retain flagship-level internal specs, including the same Dimensity 9400 processor as the rest of the range and a 1.5K resolution display. It might even have a dedicated 50Mp periscope camera, as well as a new customisable button.
