What will Reacher season 3 be about?

Prime Video
The story begins with an attempted kidnapping, which Jack witnesses. He intervenes and, as usual, gets embroiled in a complicated criminal affair.
In Boston, Reacher meets a man he has long believed dead. Francis Xavier Quinn was once a military intelligence officer, but after he tried to sell US strategic plans to Iraq, he was declared a traitor.
Despite several gunshots, he managed to recover and became involved in another shady activity. Reacher decides to settle old scores with Quinn.
Here’s the logline for the show’s latest instalment:
In the third season of the action-packed series, Reacher (Alan Ritchson) hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. There he finds a world of secrecy and violence – and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.
In an interview with ComicBook.com , Alan Ritchson revealed that the new episodes will see Reacher in a completely new place and under new circumstances:
And we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It may not have anything to do with family, with his past, he’s just living that adventure out and that’s kind of the direction that we’ve gone and it seems to really be working.
Is there a trailer for Reacher season 3?
Yes, there is. It teases a new, beefy antagonist who will cause Reacher a lot of trouble.
Which cast members are confirmed for season 3 of Reacher?
The formula of Lee Child’s books is that Jack Reacher is constantly on the road, visiting new places and meeting new people. For this reason, most of the main characters are new additions. However, we will see the return of Alan Ritchson as Reacher and Maria Sten as Frances Neagley.
The cast also includes:
- Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy – Reacher’s new partner
- Olivier Richters as Paulie – a bodyguard
- Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck – a rug importer potentially involved in a shady business
- Brian Tee as Quinn – a mysterious man from Reacher’s past
- Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck – Zachary Beck’s son
- Daniel David Stewart as Steven Elliot – a DEA Agent
- Robert Montesinos as Guillermo Villanueva – an agent
