The Samsung Galaxy S24 has just hit its lowest price ever, making it a mid-range smartphone bargain and way better value than the Galaxy S25.
Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is now on the market, naturally forcing the price of its predecessor down. Even then, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is generally selling for £599 elsewhere.
This deal still represents a healthy £80 saving compared to that wider price drop. Plus you can save £100 on the 256GB model if you prefer.
It’s worth heading back to those Samsung Galaxy S25 comparisons for a minute. Samsung’s latest compact flagship phone landed at the beginning of February and took up the Galaxy S24’s launch price of £799.
The thing is, as our review noted, the Galaxy S25 is “basically the same as the old one”. That ‘old one’ being the Samsung Galaxy S24, of course.
These two phones have essentially the same compact but classy design, feature the same capable triple camera system, and run on the same AI-enhanced One UI software. Or at least, they will do when Samsung updates the Galaxy S24 to One UI 7 .
Which it definitely will, given that the Galaxy S24 came with a lengthy seven-year software update promise at launch. Sure, buying a brand new Galaxy S24 today means that promise is down to a six year guarantee, but that’s still long enough to see you well past the usual length of smartphone ownership.

Just about the only clear advantage the Galaxy S25 has over the Galaxy S24, that we can see, is a higher level of performance. Even then, however, it’s largely a matter of comparing benchmark results.
In the hands, we defy anyone to be able to tell for sure which of these two phones is the fastest. The Galaxy S24’s Exynos 2400 chip is still more than fast enough to do all the usual day-to-day stuff at full pelt.
Another slightly awkward point of comparison here – and one of the main reasons we’re calling this Galaxy S24 deal a mid-range bargain – is the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE . It offers you a generally inferior package to the Galaxy S24 at an asking price of £649.
Like we said, the Samsung Galaxy S24 is an out and out mid-range champ at its new low price but grab this deal while you can as the price could change any minute.
