We know that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is going to be one slim smartphone , but it could also be extremely tough, judging from a recent leak.
Evan Blass (aka Evleaks) has been in the leaking game for a while now, and remains one of the most reliable sources for forthcoming smartphone info.
He’s just posted what appears to be official marketing blurb for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge , and it makes two particularly interesting claims.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specs: putting up a tough front
The first claim made by this apparent marketing spiel is that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a “titanium bezel”. This relates to the area immediately surrounding the display.
Titanium alloy is known for being incredibly tough yet also very light, which seems to fit the whole Galaxy S25 Edge brief.
The blurb also mentions that the display itself will be formed from “Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2”. That’s an intriguing claim, given that Corning only launched the first Gorilla Glass Ceramic about a month ago.
Will the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge be the first to feature an all new variant of this toughened display material, or is this just a form of marketing spin? Perhaps it’s just a typo.
The original Gorilla Glass Ceramic was designed to significantly improve drop performance on rough surfaces. In testing, it reportedly “survived 10 repeated drops from one meter on surfaces replicating asphalt” while “An alternative aluminosilicate glass typically failed on the first drop”.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specs: the rest
Aside from this tough-sounding frontage, the leaked blurb reveals (or rather confirms) more of the Galaxy S25 Edge’s specifications.
It’ll weigh a mere 163g and measure just 5.8mm thick; feature a 200MP camera; and will run on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite as the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S25 range.
Naturally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will run Samsung’s One Ul 7 layered on top of Android 15, and will be filled to the brim with AI features.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge specs: design and layout
In a separate post , Blass displayed an official-looking layout image (see above) of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, confirming its minimalist design and the positioning of all its ports and buttons.
None of what’s included here is anything new whatsoever, as reflected in the leaker’s less-than-enthused accompanying comment.
If nothing else, however, it confirms that we’ll likely be seeing the Galaxy S25 Edge very soon indeed. Current estimates position the official launch some time in May.
