Samsung ends the keynote by discussing its sustainability initiatives, and that’s a wrap! 68 minutes, five new devices and so much to talk about.

The Galaxy Watch 8 starts at £319/$349, the Watch 8 Classic is £449/$399, and the Watch Ultra remains at £599/$649. When you consider there are no extra subscription fees, that’s not bad at all.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is also getting a new blue strap and double the storage – now 64GB
And I’ve gotta say, I love the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic’s rotating bezel.

Okay, Samsung really wants you to wear your watch for sleep tracking. But will the battery life be good enough for that?
And I’m sorry, if you want a pizza, an apple really isn’t gonna hit the spot!

One UI 8 Watch looks really nice. The Galaxy Watch 8 will debut Google’s Wear OS and finally get Gemini integration!
How comfortable is it really to sleep with, though?

To say that the Galaxy Watch 8 has a lot of health-related features would be an understatement. I wonder if anyone actually uses them all.

Jacob Kiplimo, the world record holder in the half-marathon, is on stage. And he just happens to be wearing a Galaxy Watch 8 – what a coincidence…

Samsung is moving at quite a pace now – we’re already onto the Galaxy Watch 8 series. The regular Watch 8 is looking quite different, and the Classic is back!

A £1,049/$1,099 starting price for the Z Flip 7 – that’s the same as last year’s Flip 6, and now cheaper than the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra.

Using the main camera (50Mp) to take selfies never gets old, tbh. Every time I go back to a regular phone, it’s the thing I miss the most.

More than 20 apps and lots of widgets are compatible with the cover screen. But if you want to run any app, it’s still a real hassle…

It’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 time! And that new 4.1-inch cover screen (or ‘FlexWindow’) is the real deal.

As expected, the Z Fold 7 doesn’t come cheap, starting at £1,799/$1,999. That’s the same price as the Z Fold 6 in the UK, but $100 more in the US.

Audio eraser is pretty good, though. It doesn’t remove the background noise completely, but it does make a big difference.
And ooh, I’m liking these new summary screens, Samsung!

The automatic suggestion of people to remove from the background was a bit hit-and-miss during our hands-on time. But when it worked, it was really impressive.

Okay, I am quite excited about the cameras on the Z Fold 7, including that 200Mp main sensor. Just don’t try to take images in the full 200Mp – you’ll probably have space for about 5* before you run out of storage.
*possibly a slight exaggeration

Understandably, Samsung is making a big deal about the performance from the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. But you won’t be getting that on the Z Flip 7 or Z Flip 7 FE (spoiler alert) – they use Exynos chips instead.

I love Circle to Search tbh. So I’m quite excited about it being integrated into games.

One UI 8 certainly looks the part. It’s based on Android 16, making these foldables the first non-Pixel devices to get the latest version of Google’s OS.

I get the concern about durability, but after trying the Z Fold 7 for myself, it feels impressively durable. It certainly doesn’t seem any more fragile than the Z Fold 6.

It sounds like a lot of people were hoping for better battery life on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, including myself. But does an unchanged 4400mAh cell really address this? We will see.

The start of the Unpacked keynote is on the horizon, so get comfortable and we’ll be kicking things off in earnest with some build-up in around 30 mins.
Until then, here’s a look at the leaked images for the rumoured Z Fold 7, which is likely to be the star of the show.

Happy Unpacked Day
The big day has finally arrived and Unpacked is just hours away. We’re looking forward to the show and seeing what Samsung has in store.
As mentioned below, there could well be a lot of new devices and here are a few additional possibilities – some of which might just be a ‘one more thing’ teaser right at the end as we’ve previously seen for the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy S25 Edge.
- Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
- Project Moohan Android XR headset
- Galaxy G Fold tri-fold
- New Galaxy Buds (possibly Core model)

Join us live for new Samsung Galaxy phones and wearables
At the last Unpacked event in January we saw Samsung announce the Galaxy S25 smartphone series . Tomorrow, we expect to hear all about new additions to the company’s foldable phone and smartwatch lines. Then, later in the year, we will likely see a third Unpacked event as Samsung announces new tablets.
Based on rumours and our knowledge of previous events, this is what we could be in for tomorrow:
Galaxy Z Fold 7: Pricing from around £1,799/$1,899; much thinner design and larger internal display; Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset; could include two models for the first time
Galaxy Z Flip 7: Pricing from around £1,049/$1,099; bigger cover and internal displays; Exynos chipsets; could include an FE model that is much like the Z Flip 6 in specs/design
Galaxy Watch 8: Pricing from around £300/$300; two sizes (regular and Classic); ‘Squircle’ design to mimic the original Galaxy Watch Ultra; new health features, including Antioxidant Index (but Samsung could charge a subscription fee for this)
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2: Pricing from around £599/$699; similar design to Watch Ultra, but additional storage could unlock offline maps; new AI features via WearOS 6 and Google Gemini; we’d love to see a rotating crown, new button layout and a smaller case option
For now we just have to sit tight and wait. Come back tomorrow for real-time updates and analysis on all the news from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked.
