Samsung may soon revolutionise its Galaxy AI services.
According to a recent report by The Information , the Korean brand is reportedly in discussions with OpenAI to integrate its ChatGPT technology into the Galaxy AI services.
If successful, this partnership could transform the AI capabilities of Samsung Galaxy phones , enhancing user experiences with more advanced features.

Currently, Samsung’s Galaxy AI relies on a combination of its own large language model (LLM) and Google’s Gemini AI.
Introducing ChatGPT into the mix could bring significant changes, potentially providing users with improved functionality.
The integration might mirror Apple’s approach , where OpenAI’s ChatGPT is utilised as a supplementary tool, stepping in when on-device models are insufficient.
Although the negotiations are said to be at an early stage, the report raises questions about how Samsung might position ChatGPT within its existing AI ecosystem.
It remains unclear whether the technology will act as a complement to Samsung’s existing AI solutions or if it could become a core element of Galaxy AI services.

The potential partnership also highlights OpenAI’s growing ambitions to challenge Google in the AI space.
OpenAI recently launched a ChatGPT-powered search service and has reportedly begun developing its own browser, hiring former Chrome developers to accelerate the process.
By courting Google’s longstanding partners, such as Samsung, OpenAI is making bold moves to expand its influence.
Should the collaboration move forward, it could represent a major shift in Samsung’s AI strategy and set the stage for a more competitive phone market.
For now, we’re still waiting for the Galaxy S25 series , which should bring this new partnership to its audience.
