Smart doorbells discounted
Video doorbell technology has come on a lot in the last couple of years, so if you’ve been mulling over a purchase, you might be surprised at the features on offer now. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is a big step up from the standard Ring Doorbell. It has improved video quality (1080p Full HD) and it now gives you longer clips of events.
But one of its biggest benefits is the customisable motion sensor zone. You can easily exclude areas within the camera’s field of vision by dragging and dropping points in the app view. This will allow you to ensure you don’t get pointless alerts when cars or pedestrians are passing, or from motion from trees or windows.
The Ring Video Doorbell Pro is, of course, also Alexa-compatible. We gave it four out of five stars in our review .
One thing to bear in mind is that you’ll need to factor in the cost of professional installation, so if you’d prefer a battery powered doorbell that you can install yourself, we’d suggest the Ring Doorbell Video 3 Plus.

It has a lot of the same updated features as the Pro, including customisable motion detection zones. It also features Pre-Roll tech, which allows you to see what happened in the seconds leading up to the motion event.

Ring Alarm set for just £199

There are larger discounts available on bigger sets, which include more contact sensors and motion detectors.
You can install the Ring Alarm system yourself and you don’t need to join up to a subscription service to use it. You can find out more about its features in our review .
£20-£40 off Ring security cameras
You can also get £20 off Ring’s Stick Up Cams – both battery powered and plug-in – which are down to £69 from £89. The discounts are bigger if you buy more than one.
