Samsung’s hardware plans following the Galaxy S26 launch have been laid out in a fresh report.
All eyes are on Samsung right now, with the Galaxy S26 series set to launch (somewhat belatedly) later this month. But what about the rest of the year?
Smartprix has just issued a report on the company’s tablet and wearables plans, based on various Samsung device appearances on the GSMA IMEI database.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Watch 9, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 have all turned up here, complete with model numbers.

While we don’t have confirmation of any specifications, there are some interesting general points to draw from these listings.
First up, you’ll note the lack of a regular Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 model in the mix. Last year we got the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and a regular Galaxy Tab S11 , but this year it seems Samsung is going with a more premium (and large-screened) selection.
When it comes to Samsung’s wearable plans, the most notable thing is the presence of the company’s second ever Ultra watch. The original Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra launched in mid-2024, supplying a more rugged pro-athlete smartwatch option.
Given the timing of these GSMA IMEI appearances, and the usual six month(ish) gap to launch, we can probably expect a launch around September. That’s around when the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 are expected to arrive, suggesting a busy third quarter for Samsung.
