Specifications and images for the forthcoming Poco F7 mid-range smartphone have leaked, and one component in particular is standing out to us.

According to a fresh post from the website Android Treasure, the Poco F7 will feature a huge 6,500mAh battery, backed by 90W wired charging.

Short of the Redmagic 10S Pro gaming phone and its 7,050mAh battery, that’ll be right up there as one of the biggest smartphone batteries we’ve ever seen, if accurate.

It certainly beats the 5,300mAh battery of the Poco F7 Ultra , and demolishes the 5,100mAh battery of the Google Pixel 9a .

Beside white and black models, we also see a stand-out silver model with a semi-transparent top portion, which is somewhat redolent of the aforementioned Redmagic 10S Pro gaming phone. It’s all quite a departure from the somewhat bland Poco F6 (pictured above).

Poco F7 specs

Other claimed specs include a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 2772 × 1280 resolution and a 3200 nits peak brightness, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.

Another stand-out specification is the presence of a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which we haven’t seen in a phone yet. It’ll be interesting to see how well that runs. According to the report, this chip will be backed by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

On the camera front, we’ll apparently be getting a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an f/1.5 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera – presumably an ultra-wide. There’s going to be a 20MP camera on selfie duty.

Xiaomi has just announced that the Poco F7 will be officially unveiled on June 24 at midday UK time, so we only have another week to wait.
